FILER BUYING GUIDES · 5 PRACTICAL CHECKS

Will the faucet fit your installation?

A measuring checklist to help you catch compatibility questions before you order.

01

Identify the mounting arrangement

Confirm whether the faucet is deck-mounted or wall-mounted. Count the existing holes and check their positions. A different mounting arrangement may require changes to the sink, countertop or plumbing.

02

Measure the mounting surface

Compare hole diameter and mounting-surface thickness with the model’s requirements. If there are multiple holes, check the required spacing and any cover arrangements. Do not infer these dimensions from the product photograph.

03

Check height, reach and movement

Measure clearance above and behind the faucet. Check the outlet position over the bowl, the space for the handle to open fully and any nearby window movement. Consider the items you need to fit underneath.

04

Look underneath the sink

Check space for supply hoses, fixings and any pull-out hose return mechanism. Existing pipework, bins or storage can interfere. Review the package list to understand which installation parts are supplied.

05

Confirm supply compatibility

Confirm connection sizes and hot/cold requirements, plus any pressure requirements stated for the model. The delivery country alone does not establish compatibility. If you cannot identify your connections, ask a qualified installer to check them.

Ready for the next step?

Compare the specifications for your chosen model. If something is unclear, ask before placing an order.
